Founded in 2004 by artists Rirkrit Tiravanija and Kamin Lertchaiprasert The Land Foundation is an experimental art and community project in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The Land welcomes both the local and international community interested in being part of a space where the land is cultivated, art is created and dialogues are commenced. The dinner in Hong Kong was an astounding success raising funds for the the next 10 years of The Land. The auction was conducted by paddle8 co-foudner and super-auctioneer the charming Alexander Gilkes.
